What we collect

When you place an order we collect:

• your name and email address;
• your phone number (the payment page asks for it on shipped orders because the carrier needs it);
• your shipping address;
• what you ordered and what you paid.

When you write to us or join our mailing list

When you write to us or join our mailing list: your name, email address and message. We use them to answer you, or to send the emails you signed up for (your consent; unsubscribe from any email or by writing to hello@luneandpearl.com). We keep messages for 2 years and mailing-list details until you unsubscribe.

When you visit

When you visit, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA), which receives your IP address and browser details; we don't receive that data.

Photos are served from our storage provider.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.

Why we use it

To process, ship and support your order (our contract with you), to answer your messages, and to keep the records tax law requires. We don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them, and you can stop them at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us deliver your order: Stripe (payment), our fulfilment partners and carriers who pack and deliver it (your name, address, phone and the items), and our email and website hosting providers. Orders ship from our fulfilment partner's warehouse in China, so your delivery details are shared with partners there. We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires (up to 7 years), then delete them.

Cookies and your browser

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart is kept in your own browser's storage on this device, so it's still there when you come back.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@luneandpearl.com. If you're in the UK or the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority, and in Australia to the OAIC.
