How personalising works
Most of our pieces are made for you, from the words or the photo you give us.
Pick the piece and its finish, and type the name or words on the product page. You see exactly what will be engraved before you pay.
For photo pieces, your order page asks for the photo once you've paid. We email you the link too. Nothing is made until it's there.
Clear and well lit, one subject. For a pet outline, a side-on photo of the whole pet works best.
Personalised pieces take a few business days to make, then travel by tracked post. Your order page shows each step.
Personalised pieces can't be returned because you changed your mind. Anything faulty or not as ordered is always ours to put right.

Lune & Pearl makes gifts that could only be for one person: jewellery and keepsakes made from a photo, a name or a date you send us. Each piece is made to order once your details arrive.
We are a small online store, not a manufacturer. Every piece in our collection comes from a supplier whose catalog we select from. We are straightforward about that. What we bring to it is the edit: choosing pieces we would give ourselves and writing clearly about what they are made of.

How do I send the photo?
After checkout your order page has an upload box, and the confirmation email links to it. JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. You can replace it until your piece goes to be made.
What does a photo projection necklace look like?
The pendant has a tiny lens with your photo printed inside it. It looks like a small clear stone; hold it up to a light or look through it with a phone camera and the picture appears.
How long do personalised pieces take?
They are made after your photo or text arrives, which takes a few business days, then shipped by tracked post. Delivery times to your country show on every product page.
Are the pearls in your gift sets cultured freshwater pearls?
Yes. The pearls in our gift sets are cultured freshwater pearls, grown in freshwater with human assistance. They differ from imitation or acrylic pearls and have a luster that develops with wear.
How do I care for cultured freshwater pearl jewelry?
Wipe cultured freshwater pearl pieces with a soft, damp cloth after wearing. Keep them away from perfume, hairspray and lotions, and store them in a soft pouch or separate compartment to avoid scratches.
What metal are the pieces made of?
It depends on the piece: stainless steel, sterling silver or plated metal, some with a gold or rose-gold finish. Each product description says exactly what the metal and any plating are.
Can I wear these pieces every day?
Silver and plated pieces can tarnish over time with exposure to moisture and chemicals. Remove jewellery before swimming, bathing or exercising, and store it dry to keep it looking its best.
Are the ring sizes US sizes?
Yes. All ring sizes in our store are listed as US sizes. We recommend confirming your size with a local jeweler before ordering, as sizes can vary between styles.
Can these pieces be given as gifts?
That is what they are made for: birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, or a pet who deserves a keepsake. Order a little earlier than usual, because each piece is made after your photo or text arrives. Check the ring size options carefully before ordering a ring as a gift.
How long does delivery take?
We make your piece and hand it to the carrier within 2–4 business days after your photo or text arrives. Delivery then usually takes 5–11 business days to the United States, 4–7 to Canada, 4–9 to the United Kingdom, 4–8 to Australia and 4–9 to Germany. You get a tracking link by email.
Where do your products ship from?
Orders ship from our fulfilment partner's warehouse in China.
What if something arrives damaged?
Email us at hello@luneandpearl.com with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you. This is on top of your rights under consumer law.
Can I return something?
Personalised pieces are made for you, so we can’t take them back for a change of mind.
